Lake Technical Center is located in Eustis, Florida at 2001 Kurt Street. South Bay Street or Highway 19 offers runs parallel to Kurt Street on the other side of the campus. There are several lakes near the college including Lake Dicie, West Crooked Lake, Lake Woodward, and Lake Hermosa. The Florida Hospital Waterman is located a few blocks away as well.
Program Schedule
The Lake Technical Center offers an 1100 hour part time day program for those wishing to become paramedics. The curriculum of the course consists of theory, clinical applications, and a hands on field internship.
The program starts in the spring and registration begins on the first of February with classes beginning in April. The course costs (currently) are broken down as follows:

Background Check: $81.25

Tool Deposit: $30 (refundable)
Books and Supplies: Approximately $795
Lab Fees: $675
Tuition: $3,058
License Fee After Graduation: $85
The total approximate cost for the program is roughly $4775.
Program Prerequisites
In order to be considered for the paramedic program students must submit the following:
- High school diploma or GED
- Copy of Florida drivers license
- Copy of current EMT certification card for the state of Florida
- AHA or Red Cross CPR certification card
Students must complete the paramedic application and include an official transcript of their high school diploma, LTC application, TABE scores (must be 11 or higher), applicant information sheet, and the names and addresses of three professional references.
