These Georgia paramedic classes are 5 quarters in length and students may enter the program at the start of any quarter for their pre-occupational curriculum. The occupational curriculum begins in the spring quarter only.

Program Prerequisites

Students must have a high school diploma or GED and be a certified EMT. Minimum test scores in writing, reading, and math are required on either the ASSET or COMPASS tests.

Before entering the clinical portion of the course students may be required to submit a criminal background check, drug test, and pass a physical examination along with presenting immunization records. Additional paramedic education requirements will be discussed at the application interview.
