Pennsylvania Institute Paramedic Training Program
The Pennsylvania Institute of Applied Health Sciences has an EMT paramedic training program which offers EMT training students the necessary courses for certification at the highest level of EMT paramedic.
Pennsylvania Institute paramedic traning is a one-year certificate program in Paramedic Studies for those individuals interested in EMT paramedic training. The Pennsylvania Institute provides paramedic training through a diverse and qualified staff led byEMS physicians. Over 30 physicians, nurses, paramedics, and physicians assistants will participate in your EMT paramedic training education. The training takes place with new state-of-the-art facilities, in the newly-constructed $2.3 million Waynesboro Ambulance Squad complex inWaynesboro, Pennsylvania. The EMT training facilities include wireless internet access, skill station laboratories, and operational bays for hands on training.
The school offers new clinical affiliations. They are the National Children’sMedicalCenterfor Pediatrics and Pediatric Trauma, and LifeNet 8-1 for aeromedical transport.
Students who apply early receive a savings of $50 due to the application fee being waived for early applicants. Financial aide is available. In addition, scholarships from their Kelly Grove Memorial Fund are available for well-qualified students, as well as VA scholarships.
Acceptance into the paramedic training program studies is competitive. Entrance begins with requirements, to name a few: EMT training certification, high school diploma or GED, and satisfactory performance on either SAT or entrance examinations.

The paramedic training program of study is divided into four semesters with a total of 384 idactic hours and 804 clinical hours. Students will earn a total of 40 credit hours.
