These courses provide occupational education and training for men and women who wish to pursue coursework in fire technology. The Emergency Medical Technician Training Course certificate meets the requirements of the California Health and Safety Code for basic EMT-1 training. The approving authority is the marincounty Emergency Medical Service Agency. This course completion is valid for two years from the completion date and shall be recognized statewide. Note: This is not an EMT-1 Certificate.
